Psychology of Art

«Without new art, there will be no new person» Lev Semenovich Vygotsky (1896–1934) – a key figure in domestic psychology and pedagogy. In the book «Psychology of Art», the author analyzes various forms of art from the perspective of the... objective-analytical method. It is here that the focus is not on the author and the viewer, but on the work itself. Vygotsky particularly carefully analyzed the fables of Krylov, Shakespeare's play «Hamlet», and the story «A Gentle Breath» by I. Bunin. «Art is the most important concentration of all biological and social processes of the individual in society; it is a way of balancing a person with the world in the most critical and responsible moments of life».
