the subject of close attention from scholars and writers for centuries. The text of the "Tale" was retold by outstanding Russian literati. The book includes five translations and poetic adaptations from different years. The earliest version was created in the late 18th century, with the author's name remaining unknown. Subsequently, "The Tale of Igor's Campaign" was addressed in different years by V.V. Kapnist, N.M. Karamzin, and V.A. Zhukovsky. The most famous poetic adaptation of the ancient Russian epic, created in the 20th century (1938–1946), belongs to N.A. Zabolozky. Illustrations for "The Tale of Igor's Campaign" were created by the famous Russian artist Viktor Korolkov.
