In accordance with the curriculum requirements of music schools and children's art schools, the anthology includes works representing the following sections: polyphony, large form, pieces, etudes, and ensembles. The extensive artistic and instructional material allows for the selection of a sufficient number of pieces to acquire and consolidate knowledge and skills, taking into account the individual capabilities of the student. Due to the characteristics of the initial period of learning, the material is not divided into sections but is presented according to the principle of gradual complexity. The entire selection and systematization of works reflect well-known pedagogical principles and are equally the result of many years of experience working with children by the authors-compilers.
