How to love a child

Janusz Korczak (1878–1942) was an outstanding teacher, pediatrician and writer. He devoted himself entirely to the orphans, whom he loved as if they were his own. Korczak systematized knowledge about the developmental characteristics and psychology of children of all ages. The life of this humanist was cut short in a Nazi concentration camp, along with the children prisoners of the ghetto.
The collection includes such works as “The Child’s Right to Respect”, “Rules of Life” and “How to Love a Child”, which formed the basis of his innovative pedagogical approach - “pedagogy of the heart”.
