Night of Struggle

Grandmother Elvira has spent her whole life in struggle. At first, she stubbornly defended her right to happiness and independence, but even now, despite her advanced age and fragile health, her fight is not over, as her pregnant daughter and... little granddaughter need her so much.
When nine-year-old Suiv is withdrawn from school, the incomparable Elvira eagerly takes on the task of teaching her granddaughter. She will teach Suiv to count, write letters, read medicine prescriptions, dig graves, and resolve conflicts with security guards, but most importantly, she will teach her granddaughter the most difficult lesson – how not to lose in the daily exhausting struggle for herself and her loved ones, and how to maintain a zest for life in the process.
