Lidia Charskaya – a famous children's writer of the late 19th century. Her books were avidly read by young ladies of pre-revolutionary Russia. "Princess Dzhavakha" – is one of the most famous novellas by Lidia Charskaya. The Georgian girl Nina Dzhavakha, although a princess, is a true girl-dzhigit. She fears nothing in the world: going to the mountains at night, visiting a tower filled with spirits, raising an eagle chick.
