In search of inspiration, he travels to Beaumont Island to find his idol—Nathan Fowles, the author of three incredible novels. The snag is that Fowles left the writing profession many years ago without explanation and has become a virtual hermit—he lives alone, does not give interviews, and refuses to communicate with anyone.
