The Fox of the Adriatic

A scout of the Don Cossacks, Ivan Platov, sent to the Ottoman Empire under a false name and managing to establish himself in the Turkish navy, ultimately becomes Captain Hasan for the Turkish command, who is endowed with trust. This... means new tasks that are on the verge of possibility, and sometimes beyond it. The latest Austro-Turkish War engulfs the entire eastern Mediterranean and the Balkans. The interests of most European states are intertwined in a tight knot of contradictions. The long-standing enmity between the Holy Roman Empire of the German nation and the Ottoman Empire flares up with renewed intensity, as the interests of Istanbul and Vienna will never align. Captain Hasan receives an assignment—to conduct solitary cruising in the Adriatic Sea. However, during the execution of the assignment, a series of strange events occur that are difficult to explain. Oddities accumulate, and Captain Hasan develops a persistent belief that a new unaccounted force has come into play on the enemy's side.
