graders must prepare a play, and the class teacher, Frau Schnuk, chooses “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” for the performance. The role of Snow White goes to the show-off know-it-all Melissa. As for the prince, Frau Schnuk appoints Ben. The story is told from his perspective. Ben loves “Star Wars,” and he would much rather play a Jedi knight. But instead, he has to go on stage in a ridiculous prince costume and kiss Melissa. Ben is sure that he cannot endure such humiliation; he is in total despair. On the contrary, his father is very proud that his son has received such an important role. Dad is eagerly looking forward to the premiere to film the play on video. Having received his unfortunate role, Ben tries by all means to get rid of it. He persuades his classmates to swap roles, clumsily attempts bribery and blackmail, pretends to be sick, discards part of his theatrical costume—a white shirt with frills—by stuffing it in a trash can. And only on the day of the premiere, when it seemed that nothing could help Ben anymore, the saving solution comes naturally. The finale of the play “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” turned out to be truly spectacular!
