Engaging Tasks and Games for Comprehensive Correction of Dysgraphia

The manual presents 175 diverse game tasks that contribute to the development of not only optical-spatial representations but also all components of speech as a whole. Differentiated pairs of letters (и-у, и-ш, б-д, в-д, п-т) are practiced sequentially: in isolation, in syllables, words, word combinations, sentences, and texts. The book consists of five topics, each containing 35 working cards. The cards include game tasks, such as word search puzzles, flip games, anagrams, and "noisy" texts. To facilitate memorization, the method of associations and other mnemonic techniques are used. The tasks are suitable for the psychological age characteristics of children aged 7 to 10 years.
The material of the manual will be useful for working with schoolchildren who have either specific writing and reading disorders or "growing pains", i.e., errors related to difficulties in mastering written speech skills. The book is aimed at speech therapists, defectologists, primary school teachers, and interested parents.
