Trap for the Caravan: A Military-Adventure Novel

The book is based on real events, the memories of eyewitnesses and participants, documentary sources, and diaries. All episodes and photographs are tied to the locations where the actions described in the novel took place. The author is a participant... in combat operations in Afghanistan and has himself been to the described places, experiencing that atmosphere. The characters in the story are real people, with only a few names changed. They embody humor and romance. The development of events in the book gradually intensifies and approaches the main plot, which narrates about a special caravan that, in addition to a large quantity of weapons and ammunition, contained a group of terrorist mercenaries with experience in carrying out attacks and eliminating political leaders in many countries around the world. Despite being led by an experienced and cunning leader with a large security detail and an extensive intelligence network, the caravan fails to reach its destination. The book is aimed at a wide audience.
The author is a laureate of the 21st All-Russian Literary Competition named after Generalissimus A.V. Suvorov in the nomination "Prose Drama" for 2022.
