Towards the Bottom

Stop the frantic whirl for at least a moment, freeze and look around. Some will see gray everyday life, while others will discover a bright beautiful world and the beauty of life. It is this beauty that I try to... find wherever I am - among the skyscrapers of the capital, the simple houses of our native depths, or anywhere abroad. If you think about it, behind the facades of many, seemingly unremarkable buildings, lies our shared history. A history interwoven with geography. And literature.
So, I invite you on a journey. Mine has stretched for almost two years. Between the cities and villages I have visited - tens of thousands of kilometers. The history of these places is sometimes mesmerizing, spanning thousands of years. And the history of the writers and poets, inextricably linked to them.
From my travel notes, two dozen stories have emerged, in which I hope I managed to convey the emotions that overwhelmed me on the way.
