Centuries have passed since the monstrous wars of the mages roared, and half of the continent turned into a desolate wasteland covered in ashes, unfit for life. Once magnificent cities now lie in ruins, inhabited by monsters and the undead, so dangerous that a border wall had to be built to protect peaceful inhabitants from the deadly threat. Thus the Wild Lands emerged... Events are gaining momentum and, like a rolling stone mill down a slope, they rush forward. An army of embittered shurds, who consider themselves the true masters of the Wild Lands, an invincible detachment of nirgals led by the faithful dog of the Lord, gigantic gargoyles, hordes of the undead — all are destined to meet under the walls of the settlement of Korys Van Iser. Will a handful of weary survivors of the eternal struggle for existence, consisting of humans and dwarves, be able to offer the enemies a worthy resistance? Will the walls of the fortress of hope withstand the onslaught of superior forces? Who knows. One thing is clear — the settlement will fight until the last drop of blood.
