The novel "Amur-Father" tells about the past of the Amur Region, about the harsh living conditions of peasant settlers in the 1860s-70s, about their conquest of the wild nature of the region, and, of course, about the friendship with the local peoples, without which it would have been impossible to survive in the new place. In 1952, the novel was awarded the State Prize of the USSR.
