Python for Young Programmers

The book is based on the experience of teaching programming in Python in a circle for young programmers and has been tested on children aged 7-12 years. The material is designed for independent learning of the basics of Python by... schoolchildren in grades 2-5, who have basic computer skills. The process of creating programs is presented step by step with screenshots. When creating the first programs, children do not write code, but assemble the program from colorful blocks, like in Scratch, then turn it into code and make minor adjustments. Children will learn to program a turtle to draw patterns, as well as create structures, control characters, and drones in Minecraft. In the process of playful learning, children will learn about data types, operators, loops, lists, functions, and other elements of the Python language.
