BBC micro:bit for Young Builders and Programmers

The book is based on the experience of working with children in grades 5-7 during computer science lessons and extracurricular activities. More than 20 creative projects using the BBC micro:bit educational board are considered. The child will learn the basics... of programming step by step through play and creativity, and will learn to design and build simple electronic devices. Special attention is given to the development of engaging computer games. The code development is done in a child-friendly Scratch-like visual programming environment, MakeCode. The book includes detailed instructions for program development and screenshots, as well as QR code links to ready-made programs.
