Izborskaya Ideology

In the late 1980s, a campaign for "de-ideologization" was launched in our country. Its result was the prohibition of any "mandatory" ideology (Article 13 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation). In practice, the dominance of liberal-pro-Western ideology covertly established itself as a justification for the predatory looting worldview of the new political elite.
Gradually, the demand for a new, original Idea grew. Work began on creating a national ideology. In this regard, significant work was carried out over several decades by those thinkers who founded the Izborsk Club in 2012. This collection thoroughly examines the issues of ideological construction. It presents such important conceptual models as "dynamic conservatism," "developmental state," "harmonious integrative system," "solidarity-corporate integral sobornost system," etc.
The collection emphasizes the necessity of "overcoming" old party ideologies and creating their super-synthesis ("meta-ideology"). It indicates that during this synthesis, there is an "atrophy" of the right and left ideological components, the premises of which have mutated in the modern world, while they themselves have largely lost the clarity of their outlines. The authors consider the emerging Russian ideology as the quintessence of the worldview of a special, unique civilization.
In the integral report of the club "Ideology of Victory as a National Project," published in late 2021, the results of many authors and teams' years-long work are summarized. It not only analyzes deep paradigm shifts in the global world but also outlines the image of the enemy of the Russian civilization and details its vision of the future. Various intellectual and expert communities are already uniting around this platform in Russia.
