The Amazing Girl

Sofiyka lives on the eighth floor of an ordinary apartment building. And her family is quite ordinary: mom, dad, grandmother, grandfather, and a cat named Oscar. She goes to the most ordinary kindergarten – with a caregiver and a quiet time. So why is this girl, who is about to turn six, called amazing?

Is it because she loves to eat herring mixed with candies? Or because she talks to the gnomes Hariton and Afanasy? Or maybe it's because she knows how to protect her dad from a strict boss? Indeed, this lively, cheerful, and resourceful girl can handle anything.

But Sofiyka is called amazing primarily because she is loved so much! Even when she releases a canary from its cage out of pity, so it can fly to the Canary Islands, or when she loses her ring in the dough and she and her grandmother have to bite into each donut to find it. After all, when you love someone, they will always be extraordinary to you!
