Niccolò Machiavelli dedicated part of his life to public service. His experiences and observations of the methods used by politicians formed the basis of the treatise "The Prince", which is known worldwide today. The book also includes the work "On the Art of War", in which the author, not being a military man and acquiring his knowledge theoretically, expressed such profound ideas that they encompassed various aspects of human life. Machiavelli's works are so aphoristic that they have long spread into quotes that we often use, even without realizing who their author is.
