Thousands of years before Sora and Shiro arrived in Disboard and the legendary tale known to all began, there was another legend – forgotten by all.
This is the story of a great war that... lasted for ages, of how the scorched earth was fertilized by blood, and how ash fell from the crimson skies without cease. Of how weak and helpless were the people, who did not even hope for happiness and simply tried to survive so that at least their descendants might one day see something beyond this war. And of a man and a woman who decided to put an end to it and challenged the entire world, choosing to consider what was happening merely a game.
