German with Franz Kafka. The Metamorphosis

Franz Kafka's novella included in this edition, despite its small size, provides a vivid insight into the creative method of one of the most enigmatic writers of the 20th century, whose works continue to provoke heated debates. The text of the novella is adapted (without simplifying the original text) using Ilya Frank's method: it is accompanied by a literal translation into Russian and necessary lexical-grammatical commentary. The uniqueness of the method lies in the fact that the memorization of words and phrases occurs through their repeatability, without memorization and the need to use a dictionary. The guide facilitates effective language acquisition and can serve as a supplement to the curriculum. For a wide audience studying the German language and interested in German culture.
