Many years before the Mysterious Society of Mr. Benedict was established, a boy named Nicolas Benedict wandered from one orphanage to another. Nicolas was a very lonely little boy. On top of that, he suffered from a rare illness – Nicolas would fall asleep from strong emotions and shocks. And so, 9-year-old Nicolas was sent to the Rothschilds-End Children's Boarding School. To his great surprise, Benedict begins to realize that if you have loyal friends and adults willing to lend a helping hand, you can be happy even in an orphanage. And also stand up to the local bullies, the Spiders, and even find the legendary treasure of the Rothschilds!
