One day, the fearless hunter and traveler Allan Quatermain was approached by Sir Henry Curtis and his friend John Good, a naval officer. They asked for help to find Henry's brother, who, in their opinion, had gone in search of the legendary treasures belonging to the biblical King Solomon. To persuade the hunter to embark on a dangerous, and possibly fatal journey, they offered him a substantial reward. After all, the way to South Africa, to the Mountains of Solomon, is difficult and thorny, and of those who tried to reach the diamond mines, not a single one returned back...
