Tabletop Game - Cartographers

"Cartographers" – a family tabletop game where you can embark on adventures either alone or with a large company! For an entire year (a conditional one, of course), players will travel through royal lands, diligently sketching the explored surroundings on... cartographic tablets, earning gold coins from the treasury for their efforts, as well as honorary stars, which is the main objective of the game.
"Cartographers" is one of the most popular tabletop games in the "flip-and-write" genre, where players reveal cards and draw a map of a fantasy kingdom. It is distinguished by combining strategic planning with elements of randomness in territory selection. It has been nominated multiple times for "Game of the Year" awards and is recognized as one of the best games in its genre.

How to play?
Before the game begins, each participant receives the main attribute of a cartographer – a tablet, as well as a pencil to elegantly sign this document with their name, title, and optionally, their family coat of arms.
The game cards are laid out in the center of the table in different stacks and decks, according to the attached rules.
Receiving good wishes from relatives and friends, our heroes set off on their journey.
The game year, like a real year, consists of four seasons and begins with spring. In each season, players will face several rounds, which in turn are divided into three phases.

In the first phase of exploration, the top card of the corresponding deck is revealed, after which in the second phase of cartography, players must depict on their tablet the selected figure indicated on the revealed exploration card, while adhering to certain rules and restrictions. For some figures, players earn gold coins, while some figures cannot be drawn if all instructions are not followed. In this case, one cell is drawn on the map of possessions, filled with some type of terrain, except for mountains.
An anomaly card may appear in the exploration deck. In this case, everyone draws just one cell with a type of terrain. If a ruins card is revealed, the next card is revealed immediately, and players will have to draw some figure, covering one of the ruins cells on their tablet.
Finally, upon opening an ambush card, players swap tablets and depict figures with monsters on each other's possessions.
In the third phase, after calculating time indicators on the revealed exploration cards, the current season either ends or continues. At the end of each season, players count victory points for completed royal decrees.
Before the next season begins, the revealed exploration cards are shuffled and returned to the deck, with an additional ambush card included, regardless of whether it appeared in the past season or not.
 
Who won?
After the last winter season ends, the game is declared complete, and the star points earned by the players, or victory points, are summed up. The one who managed to surpass everyone and score the highest number of points is declared the winner and the best cartographer of the year according to the whole kingdom.
You also have the right to explore the kingdom alone, and at the end of the journey, you will be recognized for your merits by the queen herself. You can be known as a clumsy draftsman or a skilled master, so you'll have to strive! In solo mode, you should play by the usual rules but with slight adjustments.
In the game box, you will also find the "Skills" expansion, which adds variety to the process by including eight skill cards. They can only be used after spending gold coins earned through honest exploratory labor.
