The textbook is an introductory oral course of English for 1st-grade students. It will help children aged 6-7 to master the basics of phonetics, vocabulary, and grammar of the English language. Students will also acquire basic communicative skills in speaking... and understanding spoken language. The textbook is characterized by simplicity, visual clarity, and accessibility of material presentation. A large number and variety of exercises for practice, compliance with age characteristics and capabilities of students, as well as the presence of audio recordings performed by native speakers, make the textbook extremely useful for studying English in primary school. At the end of the textbook, there is an appendix for teachers, which provides the texts of the audio recordings. If the teacher does not have the technical capability to work with the disc, they can read the texts of the audio recordings themselves. The textbook is intended for children aged 6-7 who are learning English with a teacher or tutor, as well as at home with parents. The textbook is part of the educational and methodological kit, which also includes a workbook and a methodological guide for adults.
