The Nutcracker and the Mouse King

On Christmas Eve, Marie receives a wooden Nutcracker as a gift — a funny and somewhat absurd toy for cracking nuts. At night, the familiar children's room transforms: dolls and soldiers form an army, and against them stands the Mouse King with his army. The girl does not remain a bystander and tries to help the one she considers defenseless. The story combines dangerous confrontations with the mystery of the unusual toy's origin, linked to Drosselmeyer, a spell, and a fairy-tale kingdom.
