Jangada. 800 Leagues on the Amazon

The daughter of a wealthy planter, Joam Garral, living near the Peruvian-Brazilian border, is preparing to get married. To reach the wedding location in distant Brazilian Belém, Joam builds a jangada — a large raft that will have to cross eight hundred leagues on the Amazon. However, his family has no idea what Joam's return to Brazil entails — twenty years ago he was falsely accused of stealing a large shipment of diamonds, and the accusation has not gone away. Garral is determined to clear his name, but to do so he may need to decipher an extremely complex code that hides the name of the true criminal.
