Archeology — a universal role-playing game that creates an entire archetypal universe and can be both an engaging pastime for an emotionally vibrant evening with friends, as well as a professional tool in the hands of a helping practitioner to work with a wide range of life requests.
You will meet archetypes with their superpowers:
— The Innocent plays openly and carefreely, evokes trust, and is often helped just like that.
— The Seeker fears nothing, shows new paths and unconventional solutions.
— The Sage analyzes the situation and provides accurate commentary.
— The Hero acts decisively, takes responsibility, and moves the game forward. They are not afraid of open confrontations.
— The Rebel tests the rules for strength. Provokes, creates tension, and shakes established positions.
— The Mage sees hidden connections and sensitively feels all players, subtly influencing the universe without others noticing.
— The Charming One quickly finds common ground with any character and smooths over conflicts.
— The Lover charms, seduces, intrigues, and enjoys the beauty of the gaming process.
— The Jester lightens the atmosphere through humor and uncovers hidden contradictions.
— The Caregiver looks after the atmosphere and support of players. Often influences the game through helping others.
— The Creator offers original strategies and unconventional solutions. Adds creativity to every move.
— The Ruler builds systems and controls processes. Strives to set the rules and manage the dynamics of the game.
Archeology — is not just entertainment. It is a game after which conversations continue for several days. The combination of archetypes at the table never repeats — each game develops anew.
How does it happen?
— Each participant receives a card of one of the 12 archetypes (a character with a detailed description of their role) and «puts it on» them for the entire duration of the game — leaving the role is not allowed.
— Invents a game task, which can be real, such as reaching a new income level, or fantasy — opening a bureau of good deeds on Mars.
— As they move across the game board, participants answer questions and make decisions from the perspective of their character.
— For social activity, advising other players, game «energy» is awarded.
Each game — is an unpredictable dialogue: someone convinces, someone resists, someone supports, and someone unexpectedly changes the rules of the game. So in one game you can be the Sage, expertly giving advice to all inhabitants of the world, and in the next, playing the Jester, meet the Rebel and spark a revolution.\
Your success depends not only on personal strategy but also on how you influence other players.
As a result, players see which roles more often govern their decisions in real life, which help, and which hinder in situations and achieving goals. Players realize where the use of the archetype’s power will definitely yield results, understand hidden motives of the actions of the environment, which greatly deepens relationships, develops adaptability and inner resilience.
