"I was able to start everything over, far from Makaar. I did it!" — Polina thought, enrolling in Samara University. The city on the banks of the Volga welcomed her with the quiet rustle of leaves on the embankment, the smell of coffee and fresh pastries, the coziness of the streets, and the grandeur of the old university buildings. It seemed that the Samara land itself offered the girl a chance for a calm, free life, where she could forget the past and simply enjoy student life. However, reality turned out to be cruel: on the very first day in the dormitory, Polina encountered Makaar face to face, the very Wolf whose shadow had haunted her throughout her school years.
