Radio Engineering. Learning with the Help of a PC and Online Resources

The book allows an easy mastery of the basics of radio engineering, understanding the principles of circuit operation, and the methodology of their adjustment. To aid in mastering radio engineering, the author encourages the use of modern simulation programs for electrical circuits (schematics), utilizing accessible free simulation programs such as Qucs.

The reader becomes familiar with the basic laws of radio engineering, and then – with the «building blocks» of radio engineering: tubes, semiconductor devices, passive elements, and the amplifiers, filters, generators, transmitters, and receivers created from them. From simple concepts to the first practices. Experiments or practical work conducted by the author throughout the presentation help in the understanding.
