This book will tell you how to gain unauthorized access to a web server, or simply put, how to hack it.
(Note. The material is for informational purposes only, and each individual decides how to use it. All responsibility for using the material in this book for illegal purposes lies with the reader).
To identify vulnerabilities, we will demonstrate how to install and configure a web server, as well as what software to install for testing various hacking methods. We will pay attention to information gathering, as the more information a hacker collects about the target, the more successful the hack will be. Next, we will work with Burp Suite (for reconnaissance and web application scanning); we will learn how to use SQL injections, path traversal attacks, denial of service (DDoS) attacks, and DNS hijacking attacks.
We will talk about protecting a virtual server; we will find out whether hacking a web server user will be beneficial, how to use phishing and brute-forcing, and what tools to use to find vulnerabilities in a web server. Special attention will be paid to hacking WordPress, using Metasploit, and Kali Linux for hacking.
For most tasks, serious knowledge will not be required, except for confident computer skills. And for those who want to master the "more serious" techniques, knowledge of the basics of programming will be necessary.
