"Catmania" – a board game of calculation and the ability to stop in time. In each round, players try to lure the cat using lure cards, placing them under different toys and increasing their attractiveness. It's important not just to gather as many points as possible, but to accurately calculate efforts, as the winner will be the one closest to the cat. The game lasts several rounds, gradually becoming more complex due to the asymmetry in the cards in hand and is perfect for family evenings and groups of friends!
A game consists of rounds, each of which goes through three phases. In the placement phase, the goal of the round is determined – the position of the cat on the interest tracker, and players receive a different number of lure cards depending on their past successes.
Then, the luring phase begins: players take turns placing lure cards under toys, increasing their attractiveness and trying to confuse their opponents.
In the final phase of the "curious face" the remaining cards are revealed, the total attractiveness is counted, and the cat tokens are moved forward. The round is won by the one who is closest to the cat, without passing by it. Winning rounds gives advantages in the following ones, so tension and tactical decisions accumulate from turn to turn!
The game ends after the seventh round or when someone wins a third time – the player who has been closest to the cat most often wins. They get the right to cuddle the fluffy favorite until it decides to slip away again!
