Healing Powers Within Us

Louise Hay (1926 — 2017) — an American writer, motivational speaker, and one of the key figures in the self-help movement and New Age esoteric practices. She was the founder of Hay House Publishing, Hay House Radio, and the non-profit organization The Hay Foundation.

Hay wrote over thirty books positioned as popular psychology, including the book «You Can Heal Your Life», which has been translated into 30 languages and published in 33 countries with a total circulation of over 50,000,000 (fifty million) copies.

The key idea of Louise Hay's works is that destructive beliefs of the sick are the cause of their emotional problems and physical ailments. The author believes that with certain tools, patients can change their thinking and thus heal their bodies.
