Klimt. The Gold of Temptation

The incredibly popular Austrian artist Gustav Klimt, already during his lifetime, created a new style in painting and set a new direction for art at the end of the 19th – beginning of the 20th century. His name today is associated with the Art Nouveau movement, and his paintings reveal the roots of modern design and advertising.
In telling the story of Klimt's life and work, the author also illustrates the history of European artistic thought of that time and how, thanks to Klimt and the artists who followed him, the face of Europe changed, starting with Vienna and then the entire world.
