Divine Mantras of Abundance

Shatarudriya consists of eleven sections, anuvaak. Each anuvaaka contains several hymns of various Vedic poetic meters. Each hymn has its own sage - rishi and devata. Sometimes, in certain places, one rishi is associated with more than one hymn. In... the first anuvaaka, the prayer to God Rudra asks him to be kind and generous. From the second to the ninth anuvaak, God is welcomed as Sarvatma, all forms from which the world is made, Sarvantaryami, all-sustaining, and also, Sarveshvara, God of everything. The tenth anuvaaka consists of prayers to God, in the eleventh anuvaaka, God is revered in the form of multiple devatas, supporting different spheres of experience.
 
Shatarudriya is effective for obtaining the grace of Ishvara and for removing obstacles in spiritual life. Shatarudriya is strongly recommended for people well acquainted with the Vedic tradition, for achieving chittanaishchalya, freedom from emotional disturbances.
