In ancient times, according to the tradition of ancestors, free people from all corners of Scotland gathered at an ancient meeting place of all clans to find out what fate had in store for them. And thus, the decisive day... has come when the leaders will choose the best among those present for their clans. 
«Clans and Glory» — is a fast-paced card game in which you take on the role of a leader of one of the Scottish clans and try to strengthen it by recruiting new residents. On your turn, you will add a resident card to one of the meetings and decide whether to place your shield on that meeting table or not. The placement of shields will determine which clan the residents will join at the end of the game. You will need the tactical and strategic skills of a true leader, as it is important to choose the right moment to place your shield, and the entire course of the game can be changed with just one card.

How to play?
Prepare for the game depending on the number of players.
Players take turns clockwise, starting with the first player. On their turn, a player performs the following actions.
1. Place a resident card. The player must choose 1 of the resident cards in their hand and place it in a slot of one of the meeting fields. The placed card must match the color or strength of at least one neighboring resident card or with the card opposite.
2. Place a shield. After placing the resident card, the player may place 1 shield token of their color on the stone table of the meeting field where they just placed the card.
Once the player who started the game with the fewest cards has placed their last resident card from their hand and finished their turn, the game immediately ends.

Players proceed to count victory points. Points are counted separately for each meeting. First, the stack of shields on the meeting table is turned over so that the last placed shield is at the bottom. Distribute all the cards placed next to this meeting field by strength. The player whose shield is on top of the stack takes their shield token and the resident card with the lowest strength or all such cards if there are several. Then, the remaining card with the lowest strength is taken by the owner of the next shield in the stack, and so on. The same distribution applies to all meeting fields. After that, each player sums up all the strength values on the cards they’ve received - these are their victory points. The player who has gathered the most victory points has managed to assemble the strongest clan and wins the game.
