In the early 20th century, ancient documents were discovered that were thought to be lost forever. They revealed to the world the location of mythical lands such as Atlantis and El Dorado. Your goal is to gather the most talented explorers and the best means of transportation, creating the boldest team to find the treasures lost for centuries before anyone else!
«Explora» — is a board game in which you will assemble teams that can potentially include an explorer, crew, and a vehicle to send them on expeditions to mythical locations around the world and find the most valuable artifacts there. The main mechanic of the game is an auction: you will compete for the right to choose a card from the market before your opponents and also to change the position of your initiative token. To acquire the desired artifacts that earn victory points at the end of the game, you need to assemble a strong team that fits the current expedition and occupy a favorable position on the initiative scale.

How to play?
The game lasts for several rounds during which players acquire cards from the market and assemble two teams consisting of an explorer, crew, and transportation.
Each time the 3rd cartographer card is revealed, an expedition begins, and players choose which teams to send on it to earn reputation points.

The round is divided into several phases.
1. MARKET PHASE
Place the required number of cards on the market. If you reveal a cartographer card, place it in the cartography area on the board and reveal a new card.
2. AUCTION PHASE
Secretly bid to determine the order in which players will choose cards from the market.
3. AUCTION CLOSING PHASE
Update the initiative values.
The player who made the highest bid chooses a card first, then the player with the second highest bid does the same, and so on. In the event of a tie, determine which of the contenders has the higher initiative.

Having chosen a card for an explorer, crew, or transportation, perform one of two actions.
- Place the chosen card in front of you in one of your two teams.
- Sell the chosen card.
Having chosen a patron card, sell it and receive the number of coins indicated on the card.
Having chosen a special card, perform one of two actions.
- Play this card, applying its effect, and then discard it.
- Sell this card.
Start a new round or, if at least 3 cartographer cards are revealed, begin an expedition.

STARTING THE EXPEDITION
Send one or both of your teams on the expedition. The strength of the teams is determined according to the conditions of the active expedition card.
- Rewards. All participating teams receive a cash reward.
- Expedition. The player whose team has the highest strength receives an expedition card. In the event of a tie, the contender with the higher initiative wins.
- Artifacts. Each participating team belonging to players in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place on the initiative scale finds corresponding artifacts.
- Losses. Each participating team loses one of its cards. The team that received the expedition card discards a card chosen by the opponent with the highest initiative.

The game ends at the conclusion of the 4th expedition. The player with the most reputation points wins!
