The Role of My Family in the World Revolution

Their house was always full of events. Mother cried when autumn came. Father carried scraps in a suitcase. Unmarried aunts gave all their money to street musicians. Grandpa mocked everyone. Then German troops entered Yugoslavia. After which uncle «turned on the gramophone to neutralize the cries».
 
One of the signs of a good book, according to Milorad Pavić, — is the ability to read it from any place. This is precisely the case with the novel «The Role of My Family in the World Revolution».
 
The collection also publishes «Musil's Notebook». This is a surrealistic story. Once again about family and life. Once again Čosić used the carnival method, paying tribute to Mikhail Bakhtin's theory.
