Irkutsk. The beginning of the two-thousands. The heroine seeks herself amidst studying, music, and the first adult feelings. Infatuation and friendship, poetic nights, fateful meetings, and destructive passions gradually lead her to confront the internal "walls" from which there is no escape.

The city becomes a labyrinth of memories, the cemetery a place of revelations, and the voices of the dead companions on the path to adulthood. This is an honest and poignant story about the search for meaning, about pain and healing, about freedom that always comes at too high a price.
