Vadim Abdrashitov was born exactly one year after the end of World War II. Filming since the 1970s, he vividly told about the life of our country in the second half of the 20th century and the most important problems we faced. The time of apprenticeship and career choice, encounters with remarkable people, his reflections on life, stories about him from other people – this book is not only about Abdrashitov, but also about how we lived through the second half of the 20th century and what we carried from it into the 21st century.
