Wanderers of Indin is the youngest and also the highest-rated part of the series, created in collaboration with fans of BattleCON. Like the Trials of Indin, this is a balanced dueling box to "touch the universe and game system with one finger"—and start exploring the possibilities of BattleCON.
This part of the series also awaits you with 10 new fighters. Ideas and concepts for the heroes were sent to the author by players from BattleCON all over the world. Therefore, the characters turned out to be more extravagant than in other boxes, yet still suitable for introducing newcomers to the series. By combining Wanderers with Doom and Trials, you'll get the ultimate fighting game with 52 heroes and endless replayability.
A duel in BattleCON lasts several rounds, which are divided into phases.
Preparation phase. First, you decide how you will attack and prepare an attacking pair consisting of a style card and a move card. The cards may also contain helpful effects that activate at different stages of the duel.
Advantage phase. Now you can strengthen your fighter by purchasing special skills or items that will provide an advantage in the current round. This phase is optional, but sometimes it’s better to play it safe and solidify your position before attacking or defending.
Reveal phase. After revealing the cards, players compare their speed values from their cards and advantages. The player with the higher speed goes first. When attacking, the active player checks the range, deals damage, and determines whether the opponent is stunned. If so, the last phase occurs. If not, the defending player retaliates.
Return phase. In each round, not all cards are available to you—two style and move cards are in the discard pile and visible to your opponent. In this phase, you shift them by one cell and take the leftmost pair into your hand. The recently played pair of cards goes into the freed space. You won't be able to hit with just one sneaky move for the entire duel—you'll have to experiment and come up with new combinations!
If one hero's health drops to 0, it’s an instant victory for the other. If the power tokens run out (time is up), the last round begins, and the one who retains more health points wins. No ties—every duel in the BattleCON universe goes to the last drop of blood!
