Bear Crossing

Fedor Chu, a meteorologist, and his pregnant wife Nina arrive in a remote Siberian village of Solnechnoye for a month-long shift.

This was supposed to be a respite before the birth and help them improve their relationship, but instead, Fedya and Nina find themselves in a bear's den: its inhabitants are extremely superstitious and worship a bear protector.

Relations between the couple and the locals heat up when strange occurrences begin to happen in Solnechnoye.

«Bear Crossing» is a novel about a Siberian village, superstitions, and shamanism. It reached the finals of the literary residency of EKSMO & ASPIR, dedicated to the culture, traditions, and folklore of the peoples of Russia.
