Fear can be called a conditionally negative emotion, as it is negatively colored and causes unpleasant sensations. It arises in response to a stimulus representing a real or imaginary danger. However, all emotions are important and needed, as they carry a message about what a person should pay attention to and which needs are unfulfilled. By paying attention to emotions, feelings, and states, one can understand oneself better and change their thinking.

Fear is a primary emotion related to self-preservation instincts and inner conflicts. Fear influences thinking, behavior, and a person's reality, ultimately determining the quality of their life. Therefore, it is important to separate real fears from "distortions," and either prepare for them or free oneself from them.
