Scarlett

Great stories never end – they are eternal. Half a century after the publication of "Gone with the Wind," it turned out that this great story did not end with the death of a friend, the loss of love, a broken heart, and loneliness in the fog. In 1991, Alexandra Ripley wrote "Scarlett" at the request of the heirs of Margaret Mitchell – a continuation of the story of Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler, which became a bestseller in several dozen countries, telling of how a strong, stubborn, alluring, and formidable in-love woman achieves the love of her life, traveling halfway across the world from America to Ireland, returning to her roots, becoming disillusioned with them, risking her reputation, and even her life. This fanfic turned out to be a full-fledged epic, and millions of readers once again welcomed the most beautiful couple in literature and in the history of Hollywood, as well as the belief that a happy ending is inevitable if you believe that tomorrow will be a different day.
