A woman who has recently given birth, whose physician husband has rented an old mansion for the summer, is in an uneasy state due to the terrible yellow wallpaper left in the nursery on the second floor. The heroine cannot stand the sight of this wallpaper, she begins to see various disturbing images, and we gradually immerse ourselves in her condition.
