In the endless icy desert of Antarctica, time seems to have frozen, death is a dream, and nothing remains buried forever. The waters of Lake Vordog are dark and mysterious, their tranquility guarded by an ice shield that is forty... million years old, and in the gloomy depths rests a much older city, whose true age is beyond human calculation. The long icy slumber has come to an end, and the primordial darkness awakens in the submerged ruins, bringing death to all living things. What seemed like a forgotten horrific legend becomes a reality. Ominous shadows glide silently through the icy underground tombs, ghosts of alien beings roam the abandoned outposts, and nameless and infinitely vile creatures crawl among the ruins of pre-human civilizations. They have waited an eternity, but even eternity passes, and now humanity is an endangered species.
