For ten years, the Council of Princes has been trying to uncover the secret of the power of the mysterious rulers of Misteris. Spies return empty-handed, Misteris thrives, and its power grows, leaving the princes with no choice but to accept this situation, for they are not prepared to fight the wizards. But Misteris is not as invulnerable as it seems; the reward for information about it has dizzying effects, and the forced peace is too fragile – just one spark is enough to ignite the flame.
