In the old English estate of Buckshaw live the last representatives of an aristocratic lineage — the eccentric Colonel de Luce and his three daughters. In the summer of 1950, the stagnant swamp of rural life is interrupted by incredible events: the murder of a stranger and the arrest of the colonel.
