Parrots. Multiplication and Division. Mathematics (48 cards)

The set consists of 48 cards that can be used on both sides.

Learning to multiply and divide (colored side of the cards). Choose a card from the stack with a numerical expression. To find its value, ask the child to examine the model diagrams of each number. Using the model diagrams, find the value of the numerical expression. The child can check the correctness of the answer by matching the second half of the card. Examine the mathematical notation at the top of the right card, draw the child's attention to how multiplication is replaced by addition and how division is verified by multiplication.

Finding the perimeter and area of shapes (black-and-white side of the cards). Take any card with a shape and 3-4 cards with the value of the perimeter/area of the shape. Suggest that the child find the perimeter/area of the shape. Strips on the cards will help check the correctness of the answer. You can also play in the reverse direction by matching the shape to the value of the perimeter/area. Which shapes have the same perimeter? The same area?

To reinforce the learning material, four test cards are provided. Brief theory in diagrams and tables will help successfully complete the tasks.

Games with cards will help the child get acquainted with multiplication and division, memorize the multiplication table, learn to find the perimeter and area of shapes, and remember the basic arithmetic rules.
