Big Workbook. Mathematics in Kindergarten. 6-7 Years Old

The series «Workbooks» is published as part of the educational and methodological kit for the program «FROM BIRTH TO SCHOOL».
The teaching aid presents material for consolidating and expanding mathematical concepts in activities with children aged 6–7 years.
By completing the entertaining... exercises and tasks offered in the workbook, children will form knowledge of the composition of numbers in the first ten, the concepts of «next number» and «previous number», master counting objects up to twenty, the ability to independently create tasks based on simple arithmetic operations from pictures, write down solutions, solve elementary examples and logical problems. They will develop skills to analyze, generalize, compare, reason, draw conclusions and inferences. They will improve their knowledge of geometric shapes, skills in distinguishing figures, comparing objects based on studied parameters, skills in orienting using schemes, working with them, orienting in the plane and in the space of the sheet, and will form temporal representations (cardinal directions, seasons, sequences of months, days of the week, daily periods, time).
Through a system of engaging tasks and exercises, children, while performing them in classes under the guidance of an educator, are introduced to the forms of work that await them in school, forming the prerequisites for educational activities.
The workbook is addressed to educators of preschool educational institutions, as well as tutors and parents for working with children aged 6–7 years.
